Summer time

Summertime is a special time that gets us out of our usual schedules and out and about. Vacations happen in the summer, usually. Or long stretches for mothers or care providers who are taking care of little ones.

If you want to witness a natural display of a sense of wonder, just observe a child. A child’s whole world is viewed through the eyes of wonder and excitement. A child has no judgements of why things are so, but rather a child is in awe of life and views life through innocence, purity and curiosity, writes, Mary Paleologos, Contributor & Transformational coach, clinical hypnotherapist, counselor for Huff Post.

Children remind us about the importance of wonder and even joy.

Joy as a lifestyle approach is an important and valuable way of viewing your world, and something more highly popularized with the Kon Mari Method, see founder Marie Kondo. Marie Konda speaks a lot about joy. A good way to begin your day, could be around making space for joy. This could occur with the music we chose to listen to, the books we chose to read, the places we go, and the spaces we create for ourselves.

Questions to begin your day?

What is it that makes you feel joy?

Is there one thing in the day, that you can do to ensure joy?

Where would this be?

Who could this be with?

These are ways to frame your day to ensure joy is a part of it.
