Wellness

Good health is regarded as “a balance of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual elements” (Malloch, 2009, p. 467)

I became more involved personally in wellness when I had to step back and take the time to heal or support others during their healing journey. I also know from experience and research how important healing is in learning, and that the two work together in a holistic manner.

My commitment to this area has meant that I incorporate self care and wellness into the work I do. Practicing good self care is integral. How one person practices self care or wellness can and will be different than another. Knowing what wellness means for you can be so many things.

This can include meditation, clearing out things that no longer serve us, being mindful of where we go and what we do. Being in a good space. There are so many ways we can practice good health. I have found finding podcasts and different entrepreneurs to provide mentorship for me. It all depends on what and how you like to be inspired.

I have attached a few articles here, which have been helpful.
